Washroom Cubicles – Naturelle  & Urinal Panels

CHALLENGE

With a vision to create an indoor retail shopping haven, the Meeras development group aspired to produce the most prevailing shopping destination in the region. The Jebel Ali Outlet village is situated within easy reach of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Expanding over 25,000 square meters, the shopping centre houses 160 high-end retailers under its tapering glass roof. The unique architecture was inspired by the beautiful medieval Tuscan town of San Gimignano located on a quaint hilltop. Gibca team worked on the design and construction of the conventional washroom area that provides optimal comfort and the highest level of privacy to all guests.

SOLUTION

Keeping in mind the European architectural design theme and the client’s key requirements, Gibca installed a total number of 55 “Naturelle” toilet cubicles and 25 urinal partitions in the Outlet Villages’ public washroom areas.

These full-height cubicles were installed with minimum bottom clearance for maximum privacy with flush integrated doors securing good stability against distortion. Panels were high-pressure laminated and manufactured with moisture, scratch, and impact-resistant surface. This feature made it highly recommended for high-volume areas while giving a luxurious contemporary wood tone finish patterned in the village theme.

The urinal partitions positioned in Gent’s washroom area were fabricated in a safety toughened glass finish making it blend seamlessly into the design and aesthetics of the space. The chamfered trim edges around the glass partition provided added safety protection to all users and enhanced the overall durability.

RESULT

Gibca successfully completed the project by customizing high-end washroom cubicles and urinal panels in the shopping centre’s public area. The client was extremely satisfied with the end result – a perfect custom cubicle solution for their space. Gibca team worked diligently to provide a streamlined cubicle system for this project offering unique touches of customization as required and suggested by the client.
